Questions... Here are some answers.
 

How it all Works

Download the The SendOutSupport™ service to your phone or personal device. Complete the setup. It's easy to do, and there are tips below to help. When you need support, simply press "I need help" or "I REALLY nee help" to activate the service.  

 

Your programmed messages will be sent to your selected contacts and your personal coping strategies will be send to  your device. To set up your SendOutSupport™service, click on the gear symbol in the bottom left corner or the three dots in the upper right corner.  

 

Setup: Your Support Circle

Create your contact list...

 

These are the people who will receive programmed messages from you when you activate the service. 

Import Contacts to select from the contact list on your phone, or Add Contacts to manually add your contact’s name, phone and email address. Set how the contact will receive the message: SMS or email.  

 

Go to the Add/Edit Contacts section to make changes at any time. Changes made within the app will not affect the contact list in your phone. 

Program Your Support Requests...

Your selected contacts will receive these messages when you activate the service.  Use the Urgent Support request when you need help more urgently.  

 

A sample message is set by default; edit it to make it your own.  
 

Set Your Coping Strategies...

In Action Steps, create a list of tactics to help you cope.  First choose and action, then add the descriptor.  In Personal Truths, set a list of positive affirmations and statements you use to help you get through the tough times.  

 

There are some provided by default - edit them to fit your own therapies.

Email Credentials...

To use the email function, you must provide your email address and password. *For Android users, this must be a Gmail account.  This information is stored only within the app and is not shared outside of your device

Service Setup...

 

When you activate the SendOutSupport™ service, your Action Steps and Personal Truths will be sent to you.  On this screen, set the interval and duration at which the messages will be sent. 

Choose the crisis line for your area from the list provided, or program any phone number that you'd like to call when your Crisis Center button is activated.

A positive mental health approach in the workplace leads to improved outcomes for absences, injuries and worker’s compensation board payments. The SendOutSupport™ App is an important tool to include as part of the company’s program. 

 

How does this benefit my employee...

Individualized, rather than organizational approaches for employees deemed at risk were more effective[1].  With the SendOutSupport™ App, the individual can customize the service to fit their individual needs. 

 

How does this benefit my patients...

Every patient has a different recovery plan.  Including the SendOutSupport™ App as part of this plan allows the user to take power over their plan by customizing the app fully to their individual needs. 

 

What is the process for delivery...

SendOutSupport™ works with each customer to assess the technical requirements and materials needed.  Working with the client, a mutually agreed upon timeline will be established and SendOutSupport™ will request the required materials and list of clients. 

 

What materials does SendOutSupport™ need...

All customization options require the organization’s logo and a list of relevant external resources.  Additionally, default messages, coping strategies and crisis phone numbers can be programmed.  Other information and files may be required as additional enhancements are added. 

 

How do my users download...

Users will receive a link from their company or organization to the download center on theSendOutSupport™ server.  Users will login and download the software packet for their operating system, installing it as trusted third-party software.

How do users download...

Users will receive a link from their company or organization to the download center on theSendOutSupport™ server.  Users will login and download the software packet for their operating system, installing it as trusted third-party software. 

Account details...

Users login onto the control panel using the link, username and password provided to them from their organization.  

How do I install as trusted third-party software...

For Android users, you need to download the .apk package to your device.  Once the download is complete, open the .apk file.  Your device will warn you that you phone is set to block installation of apps obtained from unknown sources.  Click the link to Settings to change it this one time.  

Change the Unknown Sources option to allow installation from outside the Play Store. Make sure the box is checked allowing it for this installation only and click OK.  Review how the application will interact with your device and press install. Now you are all set to complete the rest of the setup as described below.  

The download won't work...
